Developing light solutions for sports halls and pools, is a profession in itself. This requires specific, high quality standards. For instance, the lighting needs to be ball and/or chlor resistant. Veko has developed luminaires for sports halls, swimming pools and tennis courts. They have been tested to be DEKRA / VDE IK10 ball-proof and meet the requirements of the NOC-NSF. In the large sports centre Koning Willem Alexander in Hoofddorp, no less than 1,021 Veko LED luminaires have been installed in the gymnasiums, the sports hall, the dance hall, four swimming pools and the catering facilities.
Veko has supplied a total of more than 1,000 LED luminaires in various designs to the Sportcomplex Willem-Alexander in Hoofddorp. A ready-made solution was fit in every space.
