Creating good lighting for sports facilities is a profession in itself. It requires meeting specific, higher quality standards such as ball resistance, for example. Veko has developed luminaires specifically for sports halls, swimming pools and tennis courts, which have been tested and approved by DEKRA / VDE and IK10. Our LED lighting, moreover, also enables significant savings on energy costs.
A growing number of sport accommodations in the Netherlands, Belgium and other European countries are being equipped with Veko LED fixtures. For example, this includes the new sports complex ´De Meent´ in Alkmaar. It recently reopened its doors with six completely new gymnasiums and a new skating rink. The Veko mounting team has installed a total of 900 meters of line lighting with 609 LED units in the sports hall, trampoline hall, table tennis hall, gym hall, and the fencing hall.
