Renovation Kuhn Geldrop

Kuhn Geldrop manufactures balers for the global agricultural market. For the renovation of its production halls, the company was looking for a solution that would not only improve lighting quality but also actively contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions.

In collaboration with Van der Steen Elektrotechniek, a phased approach was chosen. Both existing Veko light lines and third-party lighting systems were replaced with a single integrated system featuring energy-efficient LED light lines. The result is a uniform and future-proof lighting solution throughout the entire production process.

Technical challenges, such as limited accessibility in the assembly hall, required customised solutions and a smart installation strategy. The switch to LED lighting delivered a 55% reduction in energy costs and significantly improved comfort on the work floor.
