Line lighting projects

Would you like to know more about our working method? Then read our page about the project realisation.

The striking red building that is home to the Dutch National Opera & Ballet sees the construction of unique sets and large props – work that requires the utmost precision and demands high-quality lighting. A trial system has convinced the artists that Veko lighting meets these high standards. The existing Veko linears have been refurbished, leaving the linears themselves in place and replacing the units (962 in total). Veko also took down 352 individual fluorescent luminaires and replaced them with a linear solution. The linears have 10-100% dimming to ensure that they are not left on unnecessarily. The Scenery Workshop is divided into a host of different spaces with varying heights and uses, from a carpentry workshop to a costume store. Good advice on lighting was vital, and Veko was only too happy to provide it.

The aim is to make our building energy-neutral in future, and the biggest savings on energy consumption could be achieved by replacing our lighting. Veko understood perfectly what we wanted, and the lighting has been significantly improved.
