In Zwolle, the Isala clinic wanted to create a safer parking environment for its visitors by replacing its fluorescent lighting, amongst other things. The garage was equipped with separate luminaires. Because the ceiling varies in height, it was not possible to work with linear lighting. Veko came up with a solution to individually replace the old TL units with LED units that also have a corridor function. Every fixture has its own sensor.
The luminaires are mounted on a special plate with a gutter to make them level. The parking garage was in use during the assembly, which was a real challenge for the assembly team. The final result was achieved by making inventive use of building props to support the luminaires. The lighting has produced a significant improvement, both in reliability and in light output. The energy savings have begun with a reduction of approximately 25% in power consumption.
