From 18 to 23 March more than 2,600 exhibitors will be presenting their innovatieve product in the fields of lighting during the Light + Building in frankfurt. Veko Lightsystems is off course present. You can find us in hall 4.2, stand D91. During the fair you can see our latest products, like our retailluminaire. Further, we would like to tell you more about the possibilities of our Light Management System and at our stand we are demonstrating Einstone (made by Osram) an indoor positioning system which works with beacons. Sport has a positive effect on health. It increases concentration, relieves stress and improves one’s condition. “We want to stimulate our employees to look after themselves, this is why we introduced Veko Fit”, explains Hans Aardenburg (CEO). Veko Fit is a vitality programme which all employees can take part in without any obligations. Veko aims to reduce absenteeism, increase productivity and make a contribution to a positive work environment. “You can get a free baseline measurement in one of the gyms associated with the scheme. Apart from doing fitness & group lessons, you can also play squash or tennis. An additional advantage is that it increases collegiality, for what is more fun than trying to beat a colleague in a game of tennis?” Since the introduction, the first Veko Fitters have registered.

To reduce our emissions and to compensate for the CO2 we have produced, no fewer than 400 solar panels have been installed on the roof of our building at Witte Paal 38, producing a total of 100 kVA. That is a huge reduction, both in emissions and in our energy bill!
